We divide our brand names into three categories

Our descriptive names convey the service or product you promote (Toys R Us). 
A decisive advantage of a descriptive name is that the audience immediately knows what your brand does. 

A possible downside is that a descriptive name can make it harder to expand into other services, so we will be careful not to limit you with a narrow descriptor if expansion is on the cards.

Lexical

Our agency loves new lexical brand names (Dunkin' Donuts, Krazy Glue). We love words, and with this category, we get to play with etymology, puns, phrases, idioms, and alliteration to create a brand name with strength behind it. 

 

We created the following brand names to reflect each client's vision.

Inventive

We recommend choosing an inventive name if you want to be instantly recognisable with a unique word you can make your own like Kodak or Xerox. It also offers the best chance of securing a .com domain.

 

Considering the difficulty of finding available .com domains and the inherent cost of the more popular ones, having a unique name that other companies are unlikely to consider is an advantage.

The name we came up with

A unique name that is versatile and original, so the brand was able to buy their .com domain.
 
The name was inspired by the god Comus, the god of revelry, but twisted to give it rhythm and make it more original. It is easy to pronounce, meaning clients won't hesitate to discuss it with their friends and share the brand. We gave them a robust, solid and unique brand identity.

The logo we designed

Comudora distributes alcoholic beverages, so we wanted a fun and festive logo with a simple and sophisticated aesthetic.
 
The Comudora logo has simple black lettering in all capitals, with some letters filled with 'liquids' of different colours. It's recognisable, simple, and has a clear link to the brand.

The client required a name for her high-end eco-cleaning, homeware and personal care store. In addition, the ecommerce brand needed to evoke a specific lifestyle choice — looking after your environment, home, and yourself.

The name we came up with

The name is memorable, evoking bespoke, luxurious and conscious business practices. In addition, the name is a celebration of nature. Eva means mother of life; thus, Evakind reminds us to be kinder to our environment, ourselves, and others. 

 

There is a strong link to femininity in the brand name, evoked by such a simple word but powerful enough to clarify what the brand is about to any visitor. Moreover, it gives the brand a distinctive personality reflective of the products and owners.

The request

The client required a name for their aloe vera products brand with a beautiful logo. An inventive name was necessary as the .com domain was essential, but the name needed to evoke femininity, life, and nature.

The name we came up with

For this brand, we wanted to pay homage to the natural beauty of what the company does and the revitalisation its products offer. The name needed to have a particular feminine strength behind it. We created a name that embodies the natural world from which the products derive aloe vera's life-giving and healing essence. 

Flora represents the plant aspect of the business, while vita is Latin for life.
 

The logo we designed

With delicate black calligraphy and a young, leafy sprig, the Florevita logo expresses growth and a connection to nature. We used only two colours in the logo, black and two shades of green. Undeniably feminine, the logo is bold enough to carry the brand into the future.

The client required a name for an ultra-luxury serviced flat brand in Barcelona set inside an iconic renovated building with grand views of the cosmopolitan city below. It needed to show that this was property like no other and sell an aspirational lifestyle.

 

We also created their content in English and Spanish to widen their audience and created a tailored website to attract visitors.

The name we came up with

We developed a name that conveys a style and substance which can evolve and grow with the heritage of the building. In addition, the name is easy to pronounce for both Spanish and English-speaking visitors, minimising confusion, encouraging bookings. 

Casa means home, which is what this property becomes to those who stay there, while Epicuri is Catalan for epicurean – focusing on people who take pleasure in excellent food and wine, a gourmand. Therefore, the name has strong associations with luxury, abundance, and the ultimate lifestyle.
 

The logo we designed

The simple and elegant Casa Epicuri logo is inspired by the building's architectural style, which is protected, playing with light and shade to reflect the structural masterpiece in Barcelona.

 

The facade of the iconic flat is immediately recognisable, and now, so is the logo we designed.

The website and content

The tone of the website content is luxurious and elegant to attract the appropriate audience. Our transcreation team worked to reflect the client's wishes in both languages, localising the texts to the specific countries they wanted to target. The colour palette used across the website works in perfect harmony with the brand logo we created, whilst repetitions of the unique facade subtly reflect the strong lines of the logo on every page.

The client wanted to create a brand for pet lovers who genuinely cared for their furry best friends, that when gazed upon, customers could feel great confidence in knowing that this is the place to shop for their pets, also due to the fact that they sell products that stand out because of their individuality.

For this business idea, we created a fun name that is catchy and lexical, and despite being two words, it only has three syllables. Inspired by what the brand’s products are meant for, cats and dogs. The name is joyous and humorous and offers complete freedom for branding.

Pawesome pets logo design was inspired by everyone’s favourite furry friends, cats and dogs. The logo conveys an emblematic style and is combined with abstract animal shapes that look up, giving eyes a sense of direction towards the logotype, which is adorned with paws that reflect the logo colours and the logo concept. The client needed a unique and elegant name for a new silk scarf brand featuring high-quality prints of digitalised paintings. They also wanted a beautiful and recognisable logo, luxury content in English and Spanish to cater to the two largest audiences, and a tailored website.
